Life at Country Court

Our homes are designed to be exactly that – a home. For our residents who are mobile, they’re a place to live as they would normally, with the added pleasure of having company (and no chores). For our residents in need of nursing, our facilities are exceptional, geared to the compassionate administration of individual medical care.

Your space

Our rooms and communal areas are clean, light, airy and uplifting. Our residents personalise their bedrooms and the personal belongings they bring quite often become talking points amongst the residents, especially those new to us.

Resident’s dignity and privacy are respected at all times, with carers respecting preferences for entering people’s rooms. Around our homes you'll find quiet sitting areas and welcoming lounges, giving people the choice to relax in private or socialise with friends and family.

For those living with dementia, there are thoughtful touches throughout; themed areas provide points of familiarity to aid movement around the home, provide talking points and create a calming atmosphere.

Mealtimes

Mealtimes are a social occasion at Country Court. Every one of our homes has their own kitchen, where our cooks produce a wonderful range of menus, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Our Chefs Managers like to get to know our residents ensuring they cater to individual tastes and care plans.

We plate all our meals, as you would at home, for an enjoyable and dignified dining experience. We’re passionate that eating at Country Court care is a real culinary experience – we even have our own Instagram account showcasing our delicious daily menus.

Social Life

Communities themselves, our homes are also very much part of the wider communities they are located in and for our residents who are able, they can come and go as they please. The benefits of intergenerational interaction are wonderful to see at our regular toddler music groups and visits from local school children.

Small things make a big difference; the importance of human touch and social interaction, a phone being available at all times and easy access to laundry facilities. Some of our residents prefer the privacy of their own rooms, yet for all, our mantra is to always share a laugh a day.

Activities & Events

Each of our homes has its own Wellbeing & Activity Co-ordinators who get to know each resident and their life story in order to provide a wide range of meaningful person-centred opportunities. We aim to become an integral part of our local communities and encourage a real breadth of visitors and trips out to local places of interest.

We welcome musicians, singers, community groups and professional hairdressers into our homes every week for residents to feel good, learn new skills and discover new passions.
