Camberwell Lodge Care & Nursing Home in Southwark recently celebrated its 1st Birthday in style with a Caribbean-themed party. The day was enjoyed by residents and staff in their garden, who spent the afternoon singing along to a steel band performer Mark Cherrie.
In preparation for the day, the Wellbeing Team decorated Camberwell Lodge with colourful Caribbean-themed decorations, which included a beach-themed backdrop, leis, flowers and a tropical balloon arch.
Alongside the decorations, Catering Operations Support Manager Juliana Arouna baked a beautiful birthday cake topped with flowers and supported the hospitality team with a delicious BBQ spread.
On the day, members of the local community came along for tours of the state-of-the-art facilities, which include Private Dining, a Wellness Suite, a Pub, a Rooftop terrace and much more. Guests also enjoyed spending time outside chatting with staff and residents.

Camberwell Lodge offers Residential, Nursing and Respite Care for up to 98 people in the heart of Southwark. They look forward to welcoming their local community for their upcoming Open Days where they will be offering tours of the home.
